Restricted pages

Pages that are only accessible to logged-in users are restricted pages that can be viewed by specific frontend user groups. This is useful for providing exclusive content to members, customers, or internal users.

Create page restrictions

To set a page as accessible only to logged-in users:

  1. Open the Page Module: Navigate to the page you want to restrict.
  2. Access the Page Settings:
    • Right-click the page or click the Edit (pencil) icon.
    • Go to the Access tab in the page settings.
  3. Restrict Access:
    • In the Access tab, under Frontend User Group Access, select the user groups that are allowed to view the page. Only users logged in as part of these groups will have access to the page.
  4. Save Changes: Once configured, save the changes.

Now, only users who log in and belong to the assigned user groups will be able to access the page. Visitors without the required permissions will be redirected or shown an error message depending on the site’s configuration.

Restricted pages are indicated with a unique icon in the page tree.
